Family Fun
Founded in 1992, the annual Toy Of the Year (T.O.Y.) Awards
is FamilyFun magazine's nationally recognized toy contest. The T.O.Y.
Awards rely on the opinions of the most qualified toy experts from
across the U.S. - kids! These expert testers have predicted the success of
such top sellers as Tickle Me Elmo, Sing and Snore Ernie,
and Tekno the Robotic Puppy. Each year, winners and finalists are
featured in FamilyFun's November issue.

The Games Hall of Fame
Each year, Games Magazine features a Buyer's Guide to
Games in its December issue. The Guide awards Game of the Year honors,
names the best new games in various categories, and presents reviews of
the year's top 200 games (100 board and card games, and 100 electronic
games) as chosen by the magazine's editors and reviewers. The Buyer's
Guide also includes the Games Hall of Fame--a select list established in
1984 to honor the best games that have stood the test of time to become
modern classics. To be considered for a coveted spot in the Games Hall of
Fame, a game must have been on the market for at least 10 years. To date,
22 games have been selected for the Hall.

National Parenting
The National Parenting Center's Seal of Approval
program is an independent testing procedure conducted to evaluate a
variety of products and services introduced and marketed to the
parent/child consumer market.
The Seal of Approval program is designed to continue the efforts of The
National Parenting Center, which was chartered in 1989 to help create
better informed parents as they tackle the challenges of parenting in the
new millennium.
